Eliza Palasz is an actor/singer from Seattle, Washington. She is a current senior at Northwestern University studying theatre, history and musical theatre. In Chicago she has performed in the Rob Ashford’s Carousel at the Lyric Opera starring Steven Pasquale and Laura Osnes, Pericles at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, and Godspell at the Marriott Lincolnshire. In Seattle she has performed in numerous readings and regional premieres of musical theatre including the works of Brian Yorkey, Michelle Elliott, Danny Larsen, Ryan Scott Oliver and Drew Gasparini. Most recently, her pop vocal solo “Plain Gold Ring” was in the Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards as an outstanding solo and was featured on the CASA & Voices Only recording Compilations, she was a National Musical Theatre Awards finalist in Boston, her a cappella group- the Northwestern Undertones- were finalists in the Midwest Quarterfinal of ICCAs, and her song “Baby I’m a Fool” won the Outstanding Soloist Award.
When not performing, Eliza enjoys playing instruments, hiking, photography, running, yoga, and exploring museums.
