Emily Somé

Emily Somé is an actress and writer from the Chicagoland area who is expected to graduate from Northwestern University in June 2022. Her educational theatre credits include musical performances in Pippin, Songs for a New World, and Carrie: The Musical. She is the current director of the Bix Musical Improv Group, and she has written and performed in sketch comedy for The Mee-Ow Show, a highly selective Northwestern comedy group that has an impressive list of alumni, including Seth Meyers and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Recently, she has performed at the Black Ensemble Theatre in the Black Playwrights Festival, and she looks forward to taking on new projects for the stage and the screen.
