Jade Jones

As a native of the Washington, D.C. area, Jade was most recently seen as Nana in Round House Theatre’s production of School Girls Or; The African Mean Girls Play. She has also appeared in many productions at the historic Ford’s Theatre, where she was able to perform for Michelle Obama, Colin Powell, and many others. Jade has been fortunate enough to play two iconic roles written by Stephen Sondheim in one season: she was seen as Little Red Riding Hood in Ford’s Theatre’s production of Into The Woods and Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd at Rep Stage. Metro Weekly heralded her as giving a “superb lead performance”, and The Washington Post called her an “entertaining dynamo”. Jade’s influences include Billie Holiday, Marvin Gaye, The Notorious B.I.G., and Elvis. She can currently be seen in James Baldwin’s The Amen Corner at Shakespeare Theatre Company. @LittyOfficial
