Jake Morrissy

Jake was born and raised in the southern suburbs of Chicago. It was there that his passion for performing grew and eventually led him to Millikin University, where he obtained his BFA in Musical Theatre in 2014. Since graduating, Jake has been fortunate enough to work with many of the incredible theatres in the Chicagoland area, some of which include: Chicago Shakespeare, Paramount Theatre, CPA Theatricals, Open Door Repertory Company, and Kokandy Productions. His regional work includes Tent Theatre, Little Theatre on the Square, Capital City Theatre, and the world premiere of Numbers Nerds at the New York Musical Theatre Festival.

Jake made his Broadway Debut as Elder McKinley in the hit musical “The Book of Mormon” in August of 2019. That same year, Jake was selected for the Chicago Tribune’s “Hot New Faces” of Chicago Theatre list.

Jake can be seen in numerous commercials and industrials, as well as on FUSE TV in the feature film The Miseducation of Bindu.

When he's not performing, Jake can be found either binge-watching the latest Netflix show or contemplating spending way too much money at the nearest Lululemon. He is thrilled to join the exceptional group of artists at Gray Talent Group!
