Jasmine Cheri Rush

A recent graduate of The Theatre School at DePaul University, she starred in Long Time Since Yesterday (Laveer) and the Chicago premiere of Our Lady of Kibeho (Alphonsine). Jasmine is a founding member of Black Artists of Today, The Theatre School’s first affinity group for black students. Through BAT she has written, directed, and produced numerous bodies of work.

In the summer of 2018, she received a full ride to train at Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, Massachusetts, where she will return in the summer of 2021 to play Cordelia in King Lear, opposite Christopher Lloyd. She'll be making her film directorial debut this spring in A Yellow Circus, which she'll also be starring in.

Jasmine enjoys making people laugh, writing sketch comedy, dancing down sidewalks, and being an advocate for creating spaces that are led with love and compassion. Her curiosity and passion know no bounds, and she's excited to merge this passion with Gray Talent Group.
