Jayne began acting at five years old, playing anxiety-ridden Edward G. Rat and the “small but mighty” Bubba the Pig at the Country Playhouse in Houston, Texas. Her family then moved to England and later California, where she grew up at The Laguna Playhouse.
She went on to receive her BFA from NYU and her MFA from Brown/Trinity Rep. Favorite roles include Mae in Mud, The Pilot in the one woman show Grounded, and Hortensio in The Taming of the Shrew. She kicked off her transition into Film & TV with Adam McKay’s Don’t Look Up.
Jayne is a sci-fi/fantasy fan and a rock climbing enthusiast. Her husband is also an actor, and they love adventuring with their dog Clyde.
