Kianna Rose is an actor, dancer, and educator based in Chicago. Growing up in multiple cities, she's always found a home on stage. Kianna continued her passion for theatre into college. After graduating she joined Gray Talent Group and has since enjoyed working on screen in the Russo Brother’s film Cherry (AppleTV) and Chicago Fire (NBC).
Up next, Kianna can be seen learning to fence for Athena at Writers Theatre. Around Chicago she has had the pleasure of working on 8:46 Breathing Room (Rivendell Theatre Ensemble), SubCulture (Interrobang Theatre), Corduroy (Emerald City Theatre), Worst Mother in the World (Halcyon Theatre), Symphony for 6 Jonis (The Sound), and additional productions with Waltzing Mechanics and Commission Theatre. While in college, Kianna had the opportunity to produce two of her own shows in collaboration with MPAACT. This sparked her interest in new plays and devising work. Kianna has also appeared in numerous independent films and commercials.
Outside of performing Kianna loves to work with kids. She has taught theatre courses at the National High School Institute at Northwestern University and Seattle Children’s Theatre. She currently works with diverse learners in Chicago Public Schools.
In her free time Kianna loves to tend to her garden and obscene number of house plants. She can be found traveling, dancing, reading, or napping in the sun. Kianna is so grateful for the Gray Talent Group team!
