Nick Wren is a 2020 BFA DePaul graduate and recipient of the Bella Itkin Award for acting. Prior to his studies at DePaul, Nick spent four years training at the Stella Adler Studio in NYC. Selected theater credits include: StoreFront Project (Museum of Contemporary Art and Prop Thtr), Krapp’s Last Tape (13th Street Rep), Petie (TheatreEast), and Midsummer Night’s Dream (Notre Dame Shakespeare Company). Theater School credits include: The Rover, Mud, One Flea Spare, Twelfth Night, A Doll’s House and Pocatello. In 2018, Nick appeared in the award winning short film better. Apart from acting, Nick also produces and writes. He produced his first off-off-Broadway show at eighteen.
Nick was born in London and moved to New York City when he was eight. His love of travel has taken him throughout Europe, South America and Southeast Asia. His belief in justice drove him to found Take10, an organization that promotes civic participation in legislation affecting the homeless population of New York City. Nick’s other interests include reading poetry, cooking, handiwork, meditation, and listening to jazz with his Grandma.
