Nina Jayashankar
Nina Jayashankar is a Chicago-based actor and a graduate of Northwestern University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with the Music Theatre Certificate, as well as another major in Mathematics.
Originally from San Jose, CA, Nina began her career in Chicago with Music Theatre Works' production of Peter Pan. Other favorite credits include Lions and Tigers (TimeLine Theatre), Shakuntala (The Goodman Theatre), A Christmas Carol (Indiana Repertory Theatre), and Sohni Mahiwal (The Blank Theatre).
When she isn't performing, Nina works for Essie Justice Group, working to empower women with incarcerated loved ones. She enjoys reading, cooking, and playing the ukulele. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to perform alongside the talent in Chicago! www.ninajayashankar.
