Adrienne Walker

Adrienne Walker, originally from Jonesboro, Georgia, is a vocalist and actor based in New York, NY. Adrienne relocated to New York in 2016 to star as Nala in Disney’s The Lion King on Broadway. Until June of 2019, Adrienne will portray the role of Hattie in Roundabout Theatre’s Broadway revival of the Cole Porter Classic, Kiss Me Kate. Prior to her current gig, Adrienne toured the country as the lead vocalist in Dirty Dancing: The Classic Story on Stage.
Adrienne’s previous Chicago credits include: Sondheim on Sondheim (Porchlight); HAIRRent (Paramount Theatre); Dreamgirls  (Marriott Theatre); Porgy and BessIphigenia in Aulis, Agamemnon (Court Theatre) and The Color Purple (Mercury Theatre) where she has received a Jeff nomination for her performance as Shug Avery. Adrienne has been featured in a number of commercials; most recently in the McDonald’s Pay With Lovin’  campaign.
