Cameron Roberts

Cameron is an actor/writer originating from Los Angeles. Though he chose to get his BFA in Acting, songwriting and playwriting have been equally important to him over the course of his college career.

Last year, Cameron helped start Prototypes, DePaul’s first ever festival of student-produced work. In the fall, he played the role of Joshua, an autistic eighteen year old, in Falling by Deanna Jent. During rehearsals, Cameron volunteered bi-weekly at PAACT School where he worked with teenagers on the autism spectrum. Among all of Cameron’s experiences in Chicago, this was his fondest.

He is currently writing a play based on the experience of working with the incredible teachers and students at PAACT. Other credits include "Tuzenbach" in Three Sisters, "Constantine" in Big Love, and "Spotted Dog" in Go, Dog, Go.

In December 2018, Cameron made his feature film debut alongside Julia Roberts and Lucas Hedges in Ben is Back.
