Leslie Ann Sheppard
As a Chicago-based actor, musician, writer, stage combatant and teaching artist, Leslie is excited to contribute to the entertainment industry however she can! She loves contributing to new work on stage, on screen, in the studio, and in the classroom.
She's been singing since before she learned how to speak, and has been trained in classical, choral, pop, R&B, jazz, and island music as well as musical theatre performance styles. Her acting and theatre training progressed from forensics competitions and participating with the technical crew in her hometown, through a bachelor's degree in acting from Illinois State University. Her aspirations are to continue performing as a kinesthetic actor, stage combatant through the Society of American Fight Directors, circus and aerial artist, and play adapter, movement consultant and former Artistic Director for the Suitcase Shakespeare Co.
In her "free" time, she enjoys listening to history podcasts, knitting, running marathons for charity, and building things with power tools. Above all, faith, family, respect and the love of creating and sharing art drive her to strive for excellence.
