Mitch Litrofsky

After graduating Juilliard, Mitch was cast in The Williamstown Theater Festival, Second (Nikos) Stage Company.  He booked his first Equity job as standby for the title role in the Elephant Man at Broadway’s storied Booth Theater.  While performing with the Lincoln Center Touring Company, he was cast as ‘good guy attorney,’ Tom Bergman, a regular on Search for Tomorrow.  Mitch performed at The Public Theater’s Spring Awakening directed by Liviu Ciulei.  A Chicago native, Mitch played Scoop in the Heidi Chronicles on Halsted and had the privilege of working with Dennis Zacek at Victory Garden Theater in several roles, including James Sherman’s This Old Man.

His film and television credits include the Costa-Gavras film, The Music Box, cast as Jessica Lange’s law partner, Sandy Lehman.  He played Jason Schwartz in Skokie, a Herbert Wise film, and Joel Kirschman, the lead role in Eyes of the Prey, an independent film by Amazing Productions. Mitch was also seen in the role of Lavin in Paramount Studio’s The Untouchables.

Additionally, Mitch worked in the production side of the business, creating numerous live theatrical events including a multi-media production depicting Earnest Shackleton’s remarkable Trans-Antarctic Expedition 1914-1916, which was performed internationally.
